4) What do you know about Sightly?

In layman words, it is a feature that allows the AEM authors to add extra functionalities to a page. An author can select any component from a range of groups and drag it into a Parsys and make it visible on the page.

15) What is AEM Dispatcher?

The dispatcher in AEM is a caching tool that can be used along with an enterprise-class web server. It stores the cached files on a web server. When a user requests a cacheable document then the dispatcher instantly checks whether the document is in the web server’s file system or not. After checking it performs the following functions:

• If the document is available then the Dispatcher returns the file.
• If the document is unavailable on the file system then the dispatcher requests it from the AEM instance.

16) What is AEM Multi-Site Manager?

The AEM Multi-Site Manager is an advanced feature that allows organizations in creating and managing sites for different countries, markets, and regions using the same or different content. The multi-site manager allows AEM developers to create a copy of a current site and automatically updates the site whenever any changes take place to the source site.
